I am a Canadian Painter. Painting is always what I have loved to do. I view my artistic work as a means of learning about myself, connecting with others and in some way making a contribution. I have formal training in Graphics & Visual Design and work experience as an Illustrator and Graphic Artist. I seek wisdom through practice in lifedrawing and attending workshops by fellow artists. I have a deep respect for both the artistic ethic and the scientific precept. I use a range of mediums. Currently, my focus is Acryllic paint on canvas or board and lifedrawing in Charcoal. I love painting in acrylic because of its immediacy and flexibility. I mix my paint primarily on the canvas rather than on a pallet. I express the world as it is, in my experience. I love to paint every aspect of life from still, nature, figure portrait to landscape.
