Artist Bio

Therese studied painting under Dr. Arthur Lismer at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and sketching under Dr. Tondino at McGill University, School of Architecture and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History of Fine Arts, from McGill University, Montreal.

Her love of the Impressionists' style is reflected in her happy and contemplative paintings. A strong colour sense enhances the joyful play of light and shadows in her subjects. Therese travels regularly in North America, Europe and Australia in search of subject matter, sketching and photographing for her studio works. Her preferred medium is Acrylic on canvas.
